🔒 What We DON'T Collect:

  • Medical records or official health documents
  • Financial information beyond payment processing through app stores
  • Location data (unless explicitly enabled for location-based features)
  • Biometric data beyond food photos you voluntarily provide
  • Third-party health app data (unless you explicitly connect and authorize such integrations)

Important: We collect only the information necessary to provide protein-tracking tools. We do not collect, store, or process sensitive personal health information beyond what is required for our services. When you use AI-powered features, your data may be shared with third-party AI providers for processing - please see the AI Provider Disclaimer section below for more details.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide protein tracking and daily goal monitoring.
  • Analyze food entries and optional photos to estimate protein content.
  • Track your protein intake history and progress over time.
  • Store and manage your food logs and protein totals.
  • Manage your account and subscription services.
  • Process payments securely through in-app purchase systems.
  • Improve our mobile app and provide better user experiences.
  • Analyze usage patterns to provide insights and recommendations (using AI providers for analysis).
  • Send important updates about app features and nutrition information.

Commitment: We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information or nutrition data with third parties for marketing purposes. However, when you use AI-powered features, your data may be shared with third-party AI providers for processing - please see the AI Provider Disclaimer section for details. Your nutrition information is personal and private, and we respect your privacy.

3. Data Handling & Security

  • Limited Security Responsibility: While we use industry-standard practices to secure our mobile app, Proof cannot guarantee complete protection against all security threats.
  • User Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and not sharing them with others.
  • No Absolute Guarantee: We cannot guarantee that our mobile app will be completely free from security vulnerabilities or breaches.
  • Internet Risks: Data transmission over the internet carries inherent security risks that are beyond our control.

  • AI Data Processing: When you use AI-powered features, your food entries, photos, and related information may be shared with and processed by third-party AI providers. We do not control how these AI providers handle, store, or use your data.
  • AI Provider Responsibility: Proof is not responsible for the data handling practices, security measures, or privacy policies of third-party AI providers. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the AI provider's privacy policies and terms.
  • No Control Over AI Output: We do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated nutrition estimates. AI providers may produce inaccurate or incomplete outputs.
  • AI Provider Changes: We may change AI providers at any time without notice. Different AI providers may have different data handling practices and privacy policies.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated nutrition estimates before using them. Proof is not responsible for any issues arising from AI provider outputs or data handling.

We are not responsible for:

  • Security practices or data handling by these third parties, including AI providers
  • AI-generated nutrition estimates accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness
  • Service interruptions or violations related to third-party services, including AI providers
  • Performance issues arising from third-party integrations, including AI services
  • Data breaches or security incidents on third-party platforms, including AI provider services
  • How AI providers store, process, or use your data

You are responsible for reviewing and accepting their respective privacy policies and terms, especially those of AI providers. By using AI-powered features, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by third-party AI providers and that Proof is not responsible for their data handling practices.

5. User Data Ownership

All personal data and content you create using our mobile app remains yours:

  • Food photos you take (if provided)
  • Protein intake history
  • Progress tracking and trends
  • Any custom content you create in our app

However, once data is collected or content is created, Proof disclaims any ongoing responsibility regarding their use, accuracy, or outcomes. You retain full ownership of your personal data and can request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of all personal data we have about you
  • Correction: Request updates or corrections to inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data

Account Deletion by Proof: We reserve the right to delete or disable accounts for violations of our Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Services. Where required, we will retain data as needed for legal or security purposes.

7. Payments & Billing

All payments are processed securely through in-app purchases via the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not store your financial information directly.

  • Payments are made monthly or annually in advance through in-app purchases
  • Refunds are subject to App Store and Google Play Store refund policies
  • Payment failure will result in suspension or termination of Services
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play Store subscription settings
  • Immediate Cancellation: Subscription cancellation takes effect immediately with no grace period
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store) according to their respective policies. Proof does not directly process refunds.
  • Premium Access: Premium features are revoked immediately upon cancellation

Payment Security: All payment information is encrypted and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store), which are secure payment systems. We never see or store your payment information directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. In case of significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the mobile app. Continued use of the Services after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.

Notification: We will provide at least 30 days notice for any material changes to this policy that affect how we handle your personal information.
